Eligibility Criteria for UP ECCE Educator 2025
Educational Qualification
Candidates must fulfill any one of the following criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in Home Science with at least 50% marks (45% for reserved categories) from a recognized university
OR - Diploma or Certificate in any of the following:
- Nursery Teacher Training (NTT)
- Diploma in Preschool Education (DPSE)
- Diploma in Early Childhood Education (NSED)
- D.El.Ed / BTC / TTC
- CTET (Nursery Level)
Note: All qualifications must be approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).
Age Limit (as on 01 July 2024)
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 40 years
- Age relaxation will be applicable as per UP Government rules for SC/ST/OBC/PwD categories.
UP ECCE Educator Job Profile
Selected educators will work in Bal Vatika classrooms designed for children aged 3 to 6 years. Their key responsibilities include:
- Preparing children for formal schooling through play-based methods.
- Ensuring physical, mental, and social development in alignment with NIPUN Bharat goals.
- Conducting interactive sessions using storytelling, art, music, and drama.
- Organizing activities related to environment, creativity, and early literacy.

Selection Process
